Someone just asked me if it is possible to ask folks to register for a Zoom meeting (via Zoom) and I actually never thought about whether or not this is possible. I assumed a registration feature was meant more for Zoom webinars, but, as it turns out, if you (as the host) have an enterprise/education level Zoom subscription, you can ask that people register for a regular old Zoom meeting if you’d like. (Note that registrants do not need an enterprise / education Zoom subscription — free level is fine!)

Zoom defaults to “Active Speaker” view when a meeting is recorded to the cloud. For smaller meetings and classes, you might instead want the “gallery view” so you have a better view of everyone in the meeting.   Good news!
