Burgess Falls, from start to finish, is a beautiful state park in Sparta, Tennessee, known for its ridiculously beautiful 136 foot waterfall.
There are 4 total waterfalls in this park, and every time I thought I was seeing the main waterfall (and was impressed by the waterfall I was seeing), it turned out to not be the actual 136 foot Burgess Falls, which the park is named after! Unfortunately, you are unable to go to the base of the falls without jumping through a lot of hoops, such as renting a canoe and padlling up from downstream. Maybe someday I'll try that! Beautiful nonetheless and the hike was not difficult if you are a seasoned hiker.
